On The Edge

Tom Blackmon of Blackmon Auctions and Realty Inc. has operated his business out of his Edgehill home for several years.

Suddenly, the neighbors are up in arms.

An anonymous letter circulating around the exclusive Little Rock neighborhood instructs residents to call the city's planning office and "voice your concerns" about Blackmon's operation.

The letter says, "Violations include having a separate building to operate in, outside office personnel not living on the premises (three), payroll distribution, just to mention a few."

City officials have told Blackmon to stop operating the business out of his home.
