This move will help the legal industry more easily comply with the e-filing mandates levied by the courts and at the same time, provide a means to accommodate the growing practice of distributing documents to all case-related parties simultaneously.

e-Filing requirements vary by state, court and even jurisdiction. Today, there is not a common interface to all of these solutions. Additionally, each e-filing system has specified formats, size limitations, signature requirements and delivery mechanisms. Clearly a more streamlined, standardized process is needed to save both time and money. The traditional costs of delivering court documents are significant. Consider the time and money spent preparing documents and the associated hard costs such as paper, postage, courier fees, etc. Add administrative time attributed to preparing and delivering these documents, often multiple times to multiple locations, and firms can easily spend more than $100 per filing just to prepare and deliver documents.
