Omnis Studio for OSX to Premiere At Macworld Expo NY This Week.

Omnis Technology Corporation (NASDAQ SmallCap: OMNS) announced today that it will make the first public preview of the Carbonized version of Omnis Studio running under Mac OSX at Macworld Expo in New York City this week. Omnis Studio is a 4GL Rapid Application Development (RAD) tool that currently operates under Mac OS (7.5 and higher), Windows 95/98/NT/2000 and Linux. Omnis is planning to release a new version of Studio (3.0) in early autumn 2000, followed by an upgrade shortly after Apple releases Mac OSX.

Apple has invited Omnis Software to be one of only four presenters at the Apple Hands-on Theater at the Macworld Expo. At this venue, Omnis will introduce show attendees to the power of Omnis Studio as a development tool. Theater participants will have the opportunity to build a custom, fully functional Web application in less than 50 minutes.
