Omni Receives $1.125 Million From Trumpeter Yukon Gold.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 11, 1997-- OMNI (VSE: ORI.) Omni Resources Inc. today announced it had received $1,125,000 from Trumpeter Yukon Gold Inc. (ASE:TYG). This is the second tranche of 750,000 warrants at $1.50 per share that Trumpeter Yukon Gold has exercised.

Since June 5, 1996, Omni Resources has received $5,250,000 from Trumpeter Yukon Gold.

The financing will be used to fund the current, ongoing diamond drill program together with advancing the decline adit on the Goddell Shear.

Omni Resources Inc. is an exploration and development Company with a 50,000-acre landholding in the Mt. Skukum area 85 kilometers south of Whitehorse in the Yukon. There is a 300-ton-per-day gold cyanide mill on site, expandable to 500 tons per day, centrally located approximately eight kilometers from the Skukum Creek deposit and four kilometers from the Goddell Shear property.
