Chairman Dr. Carl Kukkonen announced the latest appointments to the senior management team. Noreen is on extended leave as Deputy Program Manager, Advanced Missions Office, Telecommunications and Mission Operations Directorate of JPL. In this position, Noreen had been coordinating the development of the communications network for NASA's Mars mission. During his last 3 years at Microsoft he was responsible for co-developing the software and hardware architecture for Microsoft's Auto PC platform, which is based on the Windows CE operating system. Prior to this, Moeller performed research in the use of speech recognition and compression in high noise environments and developed an operating system for digital speech products. Other positions included developing and testing various Microsoft Office applications, while specializing in the design of interprocess data exchange subsystems. Moeller holds a number of patents pending on the AutoPC. In addition, Moeller is also a contributing editor for Windows CE Power Magazine.
