Omegon Ltd., a global provider of Service Quality Assurance software solutions, today announced NetProxy(TM), a new application that enables secure e-business and extranet testing and diagnostics in Internet time.

NetProxy allows NetAlly(TM), the company's flagship Service Quality Assurance Platform, to safely operate testing procedures through firewalls while maintaining network and application security at all times. The full range of NetAlly applications are available while using NetProxy, including Quality of Service (QoS) and Service Level Agreement (SLA) verification, performance and protocol testing, real-time troubleshooting and fault isolation, redundancy and preventive maintenance.

NetProxy operates near the network's firewall communicating with the NetAlly Service Quality Assurance Platform through an encrypted TCP connection. NetAlly works with NetProxy to maintain a continuous authenticated and encrypted TCP connection.

NetProxy extends the reach of NetAlly to Traffic Agents, NetRegard Agents and Network Agents located beyond the firewalls, within the DMZ, extranet or the Internet.

All communication between NetAlly and NetProxy is encrypted using industry standard algorithms. The communication between NetProxy and its corresponding Traffic Agents is also encrypted by default. Encryption is done through SSL, using standard encryption algorithms -- 3DES with 168 bits key for the channel encryption and Diffie-Helman public key algorithm for the key exchange.

NetProxy is available today and priced starting at $4,995 per firewall.
