Omega invests $25.9M with TLC Health Care.


Ann Arbor Ann Arbor, city (1990 pop. 109,592), seat of Washtenaw co., S Mich., on the Huron River; inc. 1851. It is a research and educational center, with a large number of government and industrial research and development firms, many in high-technology fields such as , Michigan-based Omega Healthcare Investors Inc., a real estate investment trust, announced a transaction involving $25.9 million with Culver City Culver City, city (1990 pop. 38,793), Los Angeles co., S Calif., a residential suburb of Los Angeles; inc. 1917. It is a center of the U.S. motion-picture industry, whose roots in the city date to c.1915. Its chief manufactures are rubber products and computers. , California-based TLC TLC total lung capacity; thin-layer chromatography.

The transaction involved the purchase for $16.2 million and leaseback A transaction whereby land is sold and subsequently rented by the seller from the purchaser who is the new owner.  of four SNFs containing 417 licensed beds in Illinois, Missouri, and Ohio to TLC affiliates. Simultaneously, Omega made a $9.6 million mortgage loan to TLC secured by two facilities totaling 203 beds.

TLC and its affiliates operate 47 SNFs nationwide.
