Omega 3 oils could help cut age-related macular degeneration risk.

Washington, July 23 (ANI): A diet high in omega 3 oils can lower the risk of developing age related macular degeneration macular degeneration, eye disorder causing loss of central vision. The affected area, the macula, lies at the back of the retina and is the part that produces the sharpest vision. , says a new study.

The study has been published in the August 2009 issue of the American Journal of Pathology.
