While studying photography and textile design at California State University, Northridge CSUN offers a variety of programs leading to bachelor's degrees in 61 fields and master's degrees in 42 fields. The university has over 150,000 alumni. It's also home to a summer musical theater/theater program known as TADW (TeenAge Drama Workshop) that leads teenagers through an , Lani Silver picked up needlepoint needlepoint: see lace.

 and it's really taken off. So I expanded the business into knitting and I never thought I would do that. But I'm addicted to it now.

"We carry high-end, hand-painted canvases, knitting yarn and needlepoint yarn. And we have classes in knitting,, crochet and needlepoint. Basically whatever you would want or need for needlepoint you can find here."

"We have one of the largest selections of fibers and canvasses, and we offer a stitching service for people who either don't really know how to stitch or don't have the time to complete one of their unfinished canvases. We'll do it for them.

"Our canvases range from $38 to $280, depending on the amount of detail in the pattern. We carry my hand-painted designs and the work of a number 'of other fabulous designers. We also sell tote bags, all kinds of stitch books and needlepoint kits that include instructions, yam and patterns.

"I tend to teach a very exotic method of stitching. I love interacting with all the great stitchers that come by and by helping them, I get new ideas "New Ideas" is the debut single by Scottish New Wave/Indie Rock act The Dykeenies. It was first released as a Double A-side with "Will It Happen Tonight?" on July 17, 2006. The band also recorded a video for the track.  for my work and designs."
