Oki Electric to Exhibit at China International Exhibition On Financial Banking Technology & Equipment 2006; Oki Provides a Wide Selection of Financial Solutions Using Advanced Technologies.

 Electric Industry Co., Ltd. (TOKYO:6703) today announced its participation at the China International Exhibition On Financial Banking Technology & Equipment (CIFTEE), which will be held in Beijing Beijing (bā-jĭng) or Peking (pē-kĭng, pā–), city (1994 est. urban pop. 6,093,300; 1994 est. total pop. 7,240,700), capital of the People's Republic of China. It is in central Hebei prov.  from September September: see month.  17th to 20th. Oki will present a variety of IT solutions, which enable financial institutions to improve their services and make their business more efficient at branch offices.

Oki will be exhibiting its latest solutions, including ATMs with banknote recycling technology Recycling technology

Methods for reducing solid waste by reusing discarded materials to make new products. The three integral phases of recycling are the collection of recyclable materials, manufacture or reprocessing of these materials into new products, and
, passbook printers, compact deposit banknote control systems, etc., all of which support automation and increase security for financial institutions. It will also present other leading edge technologies, such as "CTstage(R) 4i," the CTI&IP call center system that has been introduced in China, and its dot matrix, color LED and multi-functional printers.

Major products to be exhibited include:
Multifunctional ATM "ATM21S"
    This is an ATM developed for the China market with a banknote
    recycling function to significantly improve cash efficiency. It
    improves operation with capacity to hold 14,000 banknotes while
    maintaining the same width as a cash dispenser, which makes it
    easy for replacement. In addition to passbook printing, this ATM
    has a 15inch high-definition color LCD, the largest LCD in the
    industry, that help users with voice and graphic guidance. This
    ATM also operates for 24 hours.

    Compact ATM, "ATM21SX"
    This is an ATM which was also developed for the Chinese market,
    but is 30% smaller than ATM21S, with capacity to hold up to 7,000
    banknotes.. In addition to the 15inch LCD, it provides
    user-friendly functions with graphics and voice guidance. This ATM
    also operates for 24 hours.

    Passbook printer "FP21A"
    This passbook printer has a wide frontage, which enables users to
    insert their passbooks from any part of the frontage. It is a
    small, high-speed printer, which keeps its operating sounds at
    minimum.

    Compact Banknote Deposit Control System "CX220"
    This is a high-performance machine that can handle four types of
    banknotes. While accepting Chinese banknotes of different sizes,
    it can simultaneously scan the deposit cash while bundling the
    cash.

    Call Center System, "CTstage(R) 4i"
    Oki launched the CTstage in 1996 as a CTI (Computer Telephony
    Integration) system to converge computer and telephony
    technologies. The latest model, CTstage 4i, provides a contact
    center solution with softswitch and UnPBX architectures. Since its
    launch in 1996, over 5,000 sets were sold (as of March 2006). It
    is also being used by various enterprises in China since 2003.

    Printers
    Dot Matrix Printer: Oki will present ML1190C, the small and
    low-priced printer that includes high-speed printing of 333
    letters per second, and ML6300F, the flatbed printer for use in
    over-the-counter work and areas where double vouchers are
    required.
    Color LED printer and color MFPs: From among its various
    high-speed and high-resolution color printers, Oki will be
    exhibiting its latest A4 size model, C3400, and its color MFP,
    which uses Oki's color LED printer engine, C5510MFP.
