Oki Electric Develops BB MediaRouter, a Platform for Home Network Service in the Ubiquitous Era.

TOKYO -- Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. (TOKYO:6703) today announced the development of "BB MediaRouter (BBMR)," a gateway platform for home network solutions in the ubiquitous era. This router is a platform to organically connect various home network solutions by combining info-telecom technologies with home appliances. The company will develop products and deploy them to telecom carriers, ISPs and municipalities. E[acute accent]Oki will exhibit its BB Media Router at the "PT/EXPO COMM CHINA 2005" to be held in Beijing, China from October 18th-20th, and at "Oki Info-Telecom Converged Solution Fair 2005" in Tokyo, Japan on October 19th and 20th.
