 Ken Richendollar, the crew was filming in February for a one-hour "Modern Marvels" episode on magnets that will air this spring.

One of the episode's four segments will focus on the material handling aspects of magnets and will include footage shot at the Ohio Magnetics as well as at the Columbus Auto Shredding Inc. scrap yard in Columbus, Ohio, owned by Randall Hall.

A 71-inch Ohio Magnetics lifting magnet and two 84-inch-wide Stearns Magnetics drum units will appear in the program.

Other topics covered during the program will include ornamental refrigerator magnets and laser magnets being developed by researchers at universities, according to Richendollar.
