The American Association of School Administrators The American Association of School Administrators (AASA), founded in 1865, is the professional organization for more than 13,000 educational leaders across the United States. , founded in 1865, is the professional organization for nearly 15,000 educational leaders across North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere.  and in other countries. The organization, with a staff of 46, is one of elementary and secondary education's long-standing professional organizations.
