Carding

The production lines for carded nonwovens cover the complete production process from the bale opening via the carding (FOR/Fincarde), the crosslapping (Autefa), the needlepunching (Fehrer), up to the winding for applications in fields like geotextiles, roofing materials or automotive fabrics. Even the complete upstream process--the production of synthetic staple fibers--can be supplied by Oerlikon Neumages staple fiber technology.

Spunmelt

Oerlikon Neumag's Spunlaid Technology is configured for a highly efficient commercial production of spunbond nonwovens as well composites like SMS or SMMS. The range of applications ranks from standard hygiene products to medical or industrial nonwovens.

Even the meltblown lines for the production of e.g. filtration materials or medical applications have been successful over years in China.

Airlaid

Oerlikon Neumag Airlaid lines base on the leading M&J Technology and by far cover the most production capacities worldwide. The main markets for airlaid products are absorbent core materials for different top tier hygiene applications, as well as tabletop materials or wipes. Healthcare, incontinence as well as a multitude of other special applications are also serviced today using airlaid products.
