Oerlikon Contraves and Lockheed Martin will collaborate on the production and marketing of the rapid-fire 35 mm Millennium Gun. The weapon is a multi-mission, close-in system capable of engaging fast attack surface craft and near-shore land targets in littoral and riverine waters. Contract particulars were not available at time of writing.
