Oce Imagistics Introduces Two Fresh Additions to its Multifunction Made Simple Line of MFPs; Two Productive Workhorses with a ''Building Blocks'' Concept Expansion.

(NASDAQ:OCENY) introduced today the im6020 and the im7520, two productive workhorses that offer an innovative "building blocks" concept, ready and able to expand when necessary to meet the demands of today's office. These high performance MFPs are flexible enough to print/copy/scan & fax and include advanced levels of finishing and security. The im6020 and the im7520 offer built-in scanning capabilities with the versatility to send files to e-mail addresses or file servers streamlining the internal or external communications process. Easy-to-use, the MFPs are equipped with a full suite of advanced finishing and security options including multiple levels of network authentication both at the user and group level. The finishing capabilities offer increased productivity, cost reduction and professionally finished results in-house. At 60 and 75 ppm, the im6020 and im7520 base unit ships standard with "out of the box" scanning and network connectivity.

Advanced Software Tools

The im6020 and im7520 have the ability to send files up to 500 destinations simultaneously including Scan-to-Email with LDAP support, Scan to HDD, Scan-to FTP and Scan to SMB. At 75 opm, hard copy documents can be scanned into individual or multi-page PDF or TIFF files at up to 600 by 600 dpi. The im6020 and the im7520, when configured with an optional internal hard disk, offer the user the "Box" function enabling scanned or copied documents to be saved and later printed, e-mailed or forwarded to an FTP site. Up to 1,000 user boxes can be created and user authentication settings that require a password allow only those users that are logged on to obtain access.

Document Solutions Made Simple

The im6020 and im7520 function with a unique "building blocks" concept that allow the base units to be configured to provide the right combination to suit individual needs. The MFPs print or copy onto multiple-sized paper, insert pre-printed covers, or take advantage of the large paper capacity and high-yield toner system to handle even the most demanding print/copy jobs. The im6020 and the im7520 provide optional finishing capabilities to increase productivity, reduce costs and produce professionally-finished results in-house with 100-sheet stapling, 80-page booklet making, user-selectable 2-or-3 hole punching, Z-fold and letter folding. Additional options allow the MFPs to electronically send documents by faxing or scanning results to multiple internal or external destinations.

im6020 and im7520 Availability

The im6020 and im7520 include a base system with 512MB of memory, 100-sheet intelligent bypass tray, 4 paper drawers with 3,500 sheets and high capacity 55,000 yield toner. Additional finishing, networking and security kit options are available, along with an expandable LCT with up to 4,000 sheets of either 8 1/2" x 11" or 12" x 18" paper.
