Observations.... (For Openers).


Largest Agencies. Agri Marketing is pleased to present its annual largest ag communications agency listing. As interesting as it is to see who ranks where, it is also insightful to view the mix of revenue sources for agencies. While it has been a challenging year for ag media and for marketing budgets within the traditional ag input companies, there are new revenue sources out there. Agencies that can provide solid marketing advice and consultation and can produce quality work will find nontraditional sources of revenue from clients throughout the ag, food and fiber chain.

Thanks goes out to all those who participated in this survey. And thanks to the top executives of these agencies for their candor and insight on the future of this industry.

San Diego. Although you are reading this after the 2003 NAMA Conference and Trade Show, I am writing this prior to the event. So, in a way, these are predictions about what a great time we all had and what value was gained from the presentations.
