Lloyd Plaisted

ROSEBURG Roseburg, city (1990 pop. 17,032), seat of Douglas co., SW Oreg.; inc. 1872. It has an important lumbering industry and handles the diversified produce of nearby cattle ranches and fruit orchards.  - Lloyd Robert Robert, Henry Martyn 1837-1923.

American army engineer and parliamentary authority. He designed the defenses for Washington, D.C., during the Civil War and later wrote Robert's Rules of Order (1876).

 Plaisted of Roseburg, formerly of Eugene, died June 3 of age-related causes. He was 76.

He was born in Roseburg on March 29, 1926, to John and Agnes Paulson Plaisted. He graduated from Eugene High School and served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include a brother, Melvin of Moses Lake Moses Lake, city (1990 pop. 11,235), Grant co., central Wash., on Moses Lake; settled 1897, inc. 1938. A distribution and shipping point for the Columbia basin project, it produces are sugar, potatoes, milk, paper, rocket propellant, silicon, chemicals, and frozen foods. , Wash.; and four sisters, Pauline Mathews of Portland, Coral Abercrombie of Harrisburg, Donna Bench of Salem and Joan Cook Joan Cook (born October 6, 1934 in English Harbour West, Newfoundland) is a Canadian Senator for Newfoundland and Labrador.

In her working life, Cook was, variously, a businesswoman who served as vice-president of her family's automobile dealership, Cook and Jones Motors, an
 of Eugene.
