Charles Conard

 Conard of Eugene, who died June 27 of a heart attack. He was 49.

Conard was born Sept. 13, 1952, in Eugene to Russell and Leatreca Haynes Con- ard. He married Diane Wiser in Eugene on Feb. 10, 1973.

In addition to Eugene, he had lived in Veneta. He received his GED GED

He was a millworker and was employed at Weyerhaeuser and Trus Joist.

He enjoyed spending time "Spending Time" is the first single released by Christian artist Stellar Kart.

The lyrics describe the band members desire to spend "more time with God". "Sometimes it’s a real struggle to spend time with God.

Survivors include his wife; his father of Eugene; a daughter, Pamela Conard Black of Eugene; four sons, Charles Conard, John Conard John Conard (November, 1773 - May 9, 1857) was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania. He was nicknamed the "Fighting Quaker".

John Conard was born in Chester Valley, Pennsylvania. He was educated at the Friends School.
 and Damien Dunson, all of Eugene, and Christopher Linscomb of San Diego San Diego (săn dēā`gō), city (1990 pop. 1,110,549), seat of San Diego co., S Calif., on San Diego Bay; inc. 1850. San Diego includes the unincorporated communities of La Jolla and Spring Valley. Coronado is across the bay. ; two brothers, Roger of La Pine and Philip of Eugene; a sister, Diane Mansfield of Eugene; and two grandchildren.

Tuesday's service will be at 2 p.m. at Crow Church of the Nazarene Church of the Nazarene (năz'ərēn`), U.S. Protestant denomination established in 1908 through the union of the Church of the Nazarene, based in California; the Association of Pentecostal Churches, a New England group; and the Holiness . Chapel of Memories Funeral Home in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to Scar-Jasper Mountain.

Lela Spiva

YONCALLA - A memorial service will be held July 2 for Lela Kincaid Spiva of Yoncalla, who died June 26 of complications from pneumonia. She was 85.

Spiva was born March 11, 1917, in Three Sands, Okla., to Thomas and Beulah Kincaid. She married John Spiva in Stillwater, Okla., on March 14, 1931. He died in 1970.

She lived in Oklahoma until 1958, when she moved to San Bernardino San Bernardino, city, United States
San Bernardino (săn bûr'nədē`nō), city (1990 pop. 164,164), seat of San Bernardino co., S Calif., at the foot of the San Bernardino Mts.; inc. 1854.
, Calif. She moved to Yoncalla in 1997.

She was a homemaker. She also worked at Sages Food Store in San Bernardino, where she was known for her pie-making.

She enjoyed baking, gardening and sewing. She especially liked to spend time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the San Bernardino chapter of the Culinary Union.

Survivors include two sons, Wayne of Oklahoma and Larry of Yoncalla; three daughters, Pauline Cannady of Kansas, Joan Abernathy of Georgia and Donna Spiva Parker of Yoncalla; 17 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Three sons, Ralph, Tommy and Leon, died previously.

Tuesday's service will be at 2 p.m. at Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove Cottage Grove, village (1990 pop. 22,935), Washington co., SE Minn., near the St. Croix River; inc. 1965. There is farming (cattle, sheep, corn, and soybeans) and manufacturing (chemicals and machinery). .
