Obituaries.Byline: The Register-Guard L. Ellen Jordan The funeral will be Oct. 29 for Lanora Ellen Jordan of Eugene, who died Oct. 23 of age-related causes. She was 89. She was born June 2, 1914, in Creswell to George and Dessa Fish Smith. She married Edwin "Eddie" Jordan in Eugene on March 9, 1935. He died Dec. 22, 1992. A lifelong resident of Lane County, Jordan lived in Creswell, Springfield and Eugene. She was a hospital volunteer and retired jewelry clerk. Her interests included crocheting, traveling, square dancing and spending time "Spending Time" is the first single released by Christian artist Stellar Kart. Euvonne Bates Bates , Katherine Lee 1859-1929. American educator and writer best known for her poem "America the Beautiful," written in 1893 and revised in 1904 and 1911.
