She was born Feb. 11, 1915, in Sheyenne, N.D., to John and Amanda Olson Hill. She married Raymund Schaecher Sr. in Marshfield on July 10, 1939. He died Feb. 6, 1997. She lived in Coos Bay Coos Bay (k s), city (1990 pop. 15,076), Coos co., SW Oreg., a port of entry on Coos Bay; founded 1854 as Marshfield, inc. 1874, renamed 1944. between 1940 and 1944, and moved to Eugene in
1945. She was a homemaker who belonged to Catholic Daughters and the
Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Raymund Jr. of Bellevue, Wash.; a daughter, Katie Smith Katherine May “Katie” Smith (born June 4, 1974 in Lancaster, Ohio) is a professional basketball player for the Detroit Shock in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Her primary position is shooting guard. Sometimes she plays small forward. of Carlsbad, Calif.; a brother, Gordon Hill of Mandan, N.D.; two sisters, Dorothy Rubow of Boise and Marilyn Allmaras of Laughlin, Nev.; four grandchildren; and five great-grand- children. Visitation will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. Tuesday's funeral will be at 12:15 p.m., also at the church. Andreason's Cremation cremation, disposal of a corpse by fire. Caldwell of Eugene who died March 21 of age-related causes. He was 80. Caldwell was born on June 18, 1922, in Lucasville, Ohio, to John Creed and Nancy Jane Caldwell. He married Susie T. Agostinetto in California on Nov. 23, 1943. She died Jan. 26, 1983. He married Rosemary Brummet in Eugene on June 27, 1987. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and worked in underground construction and as a heavy equipment operator. He moved to Eugene in 1975. He enjoyed fishing, dancing, horseshoes, golf and bowling. Caldwell was a member of the Eugene Eagles Lodge and American Legion American Legion, national association of male and female war veterans, founded (1919) in Paris. Membership is open to veterans of World Wars I and II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. No. 53.
