Koerschgen of Eugene, who died July 19 of cancer. She was 77. Koerschgen was born Jan. 29, 1925, in Eugene to Louis and Alice Mier Kindt. She was a homemaker and loved birds and flowers. Survivors include four sons, Eric of Springfield, Arne of Elmira, Michael of Klamath Falls Klamath Falls, city (1990 pop. 17,737), seat of Klamath co., SW Oreg., at the southern tip of Upper Klamath Lake; inc. 1905. It is the processing and distribution center of a lumber, livestock, and farm area. and Karl of Otis; a sister, Hope Robinson of Eugene; 23 grandchildren GRANDCHILDREN, domestic relations. LaVerne Huckins The funeral will be held July 23 for LaVerne ElMina Huckins of Portland, formerly of Drain, who died July 18 of age-related causes. She was 87. Huckins was born Jan. 13, 1915, in Houston to Charles and Bertine DeHondt. She married Arthur Huckins in Elkton on Sept. 10, 1933. He died in 1989. She was employed as a postal worker A postal worker is one who works for a post office, such as a mail carrier. In the U.S., postal workers are represented by the National Postal Mail Handlers Union - NPMHU and the American Postal Workers Union, part of the AFL-CIO. at the Drain post office until her retirement. Huckins enjoyed reading, sewing, traveling, sightseeing and camping. She was a supporter of the Drain library and a charter member of the Drain Assembly of God Church. Huckins lived in Drain for more than 70 years before moving to Portland five years ago to be near her son. Harold Noland Harold Hugh Noland of Eugene died July 18 of age-related causes. He was 91. Noland was born Sept. 8, 1910, in Georgia to Jay and Irene Noland. He married Wanda Middleton in San Bernardino San Bernardino, city, United States San Bernardino (săn bûr'nədē`nō), city (1990 pop. 164,164), seat of San Bernardino co., S Calif., at the foot of the San Bernardino Mts.; inc. 1854. , Calif., in 1942. She died Jan. 26, 1985. He served in the Army during World War II. After the war, he moved to Eugene from Tallahassee, Fla. Noland owned and operated the Trailways Barber Shop. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the American Legion American Legion, national association of male and female war veterans, founded (1919) in Paris. Membership is open to veterans of World Wars I and II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. , the Vet's Club and Willamalane Senior Center. Survivors include a son, Lloyd of Ellensburg, Wash.; a daughter, Carole Noland of Eugene; two grandchildren; and two great-grand- children. No service is planned. Rhoads of Lake Suzy, Fla., formerly of Eugene, who died June 28 of complications following heart surgery. He was 82. Rhoads was born Nov. 28, 1919, in Wisconsin. He married Joan Bohley in Eugene in August 1999. He lived in Kailua, Hawaii For the town in the North Kona District of the Island of Hawaii, see . Kailua is a census-designated place (CDP) located in the City & County of Honolulu, in the Koʻ , Tokyo and Shanghai, China, before moving to Eugene in 1989. He moved to Lake Suzy several years ago. He graduated from the Dallas Theological Seminary Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) is a conservative evangelical theological seminary located in Dallas, Texas. DTS has extension campuses in Atlanta, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and Tampa and a multi-lingual online education program. in 1947 and was a missionary in Asia from 1948 to 1988.
