Sylvianne Jones

SPRINGFIELD - Sylvianne "Anne" Jones of Springfield died Feb. 10 of age-related causes. She was 83.

Jones was born April 25, 1918, in Shelby, Mont., to Sylvan sylvan

emanating from or pertaining to woods. See also sylvatic.
 and Margaret Castello Murray.

She married Robert Jones Robert Jones may refer to
  • Robert Jones (American football), former football player for the Dallas Cowboys
  • Robert Jones (American politician) (b. 1944), Former Kalamazoo mayor and current member of the Michigan State House.
 in Rockford, Ill., on Dec. 24, 1941. He died July 29, 1993.

She worked as a saleswoman for Stanley Home Products for 35 years.

She enjoyed bingo, "The Price is Right" television show, following the stock market and keeping up on the news.

Survivors include four sons, Thomas of Springfield, Michael of Pensacola, Fla., Daniel of Cape Coral Cape Coral, city (1990 pop. 74,991), Lee co., SW coastal Fla., located on an estuary of the Caloosahatchee River; inc. 1970. It is mostly a residential city that has grown rapidly along with the southern Florida area. , Fla., and Patrick of Torrington, Wyo.; a daughter, Susan Jones of Salem; a brother, Jerry Murray of Shelby; two sisters, Grayce Dazell of Ephrata, Wash., and Marjorie Oertel of Conrad, Mont.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A daughter, Judy Conn, died in 1979 and a son, James, died in 1951.

No service is planned. Major Family Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of arrangements.

Marion Hardin

A memorial service will be held Feb. 23 for Marion Elaine Hardin of Eugene, who died Feb. 13 of cancer. She was 62.

Hardin was born May 18, 1939, in Aberdeen, S.D., to Martin and Emma Hall Hausvik.

She married Gary Hardin on Sept. 9, 1961.

She lived in Turton, S.D., until 1957, when she moved to Aberdeen. She moved to Eugene in 1973.

She attended beauty school and worked as a receptionist at A-Art College of Beauty.

She enjoyed knitting, photography and spending time "Spending Time" is the first single released by Christian artist Stellar Kart.

The lyrics describe the band members desire to spend "more time with God". "Sometimes it’s a real struggle to spend time with God.
 with her grand- children.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Lori Reynolds of Eugene and Julie McConnell of Eagle, Idaho Eagle is a city in Ada County, Idaho, United States. The population was 11,085 at the 2000 census. Due to growth in the Boise metropolitan area, Eagle has become increasingly suburban in recent years. ; a son, Damon of Eugene; three brothers, Rodney Hausvik of Turton, Marvin Hausvik of Redfield, S.D., and James Hausvik of New Brighton New Brighton, village (1990 pop. 22,207), Ramsey co., SE Minn., a suburb of Minneapolis–Saint Paul; inc. 1891. Its manufactures include metal products, machinery, and leather. A theological seminary is there. , Minn.; two sisters, Avis Hansen of Mesa, Ariz., and Clarice Seaman of Rapid City, S.D.; and five grandchildren.

Craig Wakeling

The funeral will be held Feb. 18 for Craig Wakeling of Eugene, who died Feb. 14 of cancer. He was 55.

Wakeling was born March 18, 1946, in Kimberly, Nev., to Doyle and Ruby Gubler Wakeling.

He married Iris Cartwright in Los Angeles on Feb. 16, 1974.

He graduated from high school in Reno, Nev., and attended Brigham Young University Brigham Young University, at Provo, Utah; Latter-Day Saints; coeducational; opened as an academy in 1875 and became a university in 1903. It is noted for its law and business schools. .

Before moving to Eugene about 12 years ago, he lived in the Los Angeles area and Reno.

He worked for more than 12 years as a commercial accountant at Harvey & Price Co.

He enjoyed traveling and eating out.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Church of Jesus Christ may refer to:

 of Latter-day Saints, Santa Clara Ward.

Survivors include two sons, Tim of Seattle and Jeff of Eugene; two brothers, David of Upland, Calif., and Hal of Oakland, Calif.; and two sisters, Ranae Truitt of Wasilla, Alaska, and Irene Hagblom of Reno.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Santa Clara Ward. Monday's service will be at 10 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery Oak Hill Cemetery is a twenty-two acre (9 ha) historic cemetery and botanical garden located in Georgetown, Washington, D.C..

Oak Hill began in 1848 as part of the rural cemetery movement, directly inspired by the success of Mount Auburn Cemetery, when William Wilson
 in Eugene. West Lawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.

Clarification

John A. Schank of Eugene died Feb. 8. Survivors include a daughter, Janet Krug of Eugene.

England's Eugene Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
