Jim Grafton, Sr., 76, chairman of the board of Blackhawk Foundry and Machine Co., Davenport, Iowa Davenport is a city in the American state of Iowa that borders the Mississippi River. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 98,359. A 2006 estimate tells that the city had grown slightly to 99,514. , died in April. A long-time member of the AFS A distributed file system for large, widely dispersed Unix and Windows networks from Transarc Corporation, now part of IBM. It is noted for its ease of administration and expandability and stems from Carnegie-Mellon's Andrew File System.

 Quad Cities Chapter, Grafton was an Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II.

Richard D. Mudd, 101, a physician and nationally recognized Abraham Lincoln Scholar died in May. Mudd retired from General Motors in 1965 after 37 years as an industrial physician and surgeon for Chevrolet Saginaw Grey Iron Foundry, Saginaw, Michigan.

 for Kulp Foundry, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania East Stroudsburg is a borough in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located in the Poconos region of the state. Originally known as "Dansbury", East Stroudsburg was renamed for geographic reasons when the Delaware, Lackawanna, and Western Railroad opened a station , died in May.
