Schools nationwide can apply for recognition and receive online tools and resources for combating childhood obesity childhood obesity Public health Overweight in a child, an average BMI of ≥ 85% for age and sex; ≥ 95% for age and sex is very obese. See Body-mass index, Obesity. Cf Adult obesity.  from the Alliance for a Healthier Generation Healthy Schools Forum.

At the alliance's website (www.HealthierGeneration.org,) school district leaders can determine whether they qualify for recognition.

The University of Arkansas The University of Arkansas strives to be known as a "nationally competitive, student-centered research university serving Arkansas and the world."
