Multivision has a presence in more than 160 media markets in the U.S. The company offers products that allow clients to monitor their brand, watch media coverage, analyze the results and present conclusions to selective audiences. Observer North America/Bacon's ceo Steve Newman said the purchase "perfectly complements Bacon's existing presence in the media monitoring sector in the U.S. and the purchase is yet another step in our objective to deliver a full spectrum of media intelligence services on a national scale to our clients." Bacon's entered the broadcast monitoring business in the U.S. a little over three years ago with the purchase of Media Pulse, Inc. (St. Louis, MO), a broadcast monitoring provider. Since then, Bacon's broadcast monitoring service has grown through a combination of organic initiatives and related acquisitions in major media markets. |
