Oberon Associates awarded contract for Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) Network Management Support Services - Global Associated Support Contract (DNMSS-G ASC).
Work to be performed under the task orders include system planning and support, operational analyses, system management, operations, maintenance, and technical enhancement services for components of the DISN including: Defense Switched Network (DSN), Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN), Joint DISN Control System (JDCS), Integrated Network Management System (INMS), Trouble Management System (TMS), Report Management System (RMS) and the Integrated Configuration and Tracking System (ICATS).
Oberon's team includes CSC, SAIC, Pragmatics and five small businesses.
John Hibbert, Oberon's Vice President for Communications Systems, said "Our team is committed to this program. We understand the critical nature of the components of the DISN and look forward to working with DISA in implementing communications services as part of the DNMSS-G Associated Support Contract."
Oberon is an engineering services small business of over 400 employees specializing in the areas of communications engineering, biometrics, data management and support to the intelligence community. Oberon was selected for the prestigious Department of Defense Nunn-Perry Award and was selected a Greater Washington Government Contractor of the Year in 2006.
