Oakwood was Platinum Sponsor of this year's USO Metro Gala in Washington, DC, held on the same week that US troops assumed control of Baghdad. In April, Oakwood was a sponsor of USO's Annual Gala in Hampton Roads, Virginia. In May, Oakwood sponsored a performance of the USO "Liberty Belles" in Boston, at the Excellence in Government Awards, hosted by the Greater Boston Federal Executive Board. The event was chaired by US Army Brigadier General Craig A. Peterson, Commanding General for Homeland Operations in New England.
As Oakwood expands around the world, it aims to continue to contribute to USO's activities in support of the US military and the families of enlisted personnel.
