Oakland International Airport (IATA: OAK, ICAO: KOAK, FAA LID: OAK), also known as , Oakland, Calif., as a winner of the 2006 Environmental Achievement Award. The MMP program at Oakland International Airport has saved more than $2.6 million in disposal costs and $200,000 in material import costs. This program will allow more than 300,000 cubic yards of construction material to be recycled over a five-year period.
