Social hour begins at 6:00 pm followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. The awards program will begin at 7:45 p.m. Cost to attend: $75.00 PRSA members, $95.00 non members. Tables of ten are available for a flat rate. The Compass Awards is an annual competition open to Northern California Northern California, sometimes referred to as NorCal, is the northern portion of the U.S. state of California. The region contains the San Francisco Bay Area, the state capital, Sacramento; as well as the substantial natural beauty of the redwood forests, the northern public relations practitioners, agencies and departments. More than 75 entries were submitted in response to the call for entries in June. The entries are being judged by the Alaska PRSA chapter. Winners will be on display at the Compass Awards dinner. The Bellevue Club at Lake Merritt is a private club located in an elegant, five story European designed manor. Hors d'oeuvres and a full course dinner with wine will be served.
