OAK RIDGE NATIONAL LABORATORY REPORT CERTIFIES EARTHFIRST TECHNOLOGIES PLANT EMISSIONS

EarthFirst Technologies, Inc. ("EFTI" or "the Company") (OTCB:EFTI) announces the release of a report, dated September 17, 2004 prepared by Oak Ridge National Laboratory ("ORNL"), that documents the emissions status of its Catalytic Activated Vacuum Distillation ("CAVD") plant. The focus of this investigation was potential fugitive emissions from the facility during the operation which has historically been a problem for rubber tire destruction / conversion plants. Sampling was conducted on-site using ORNL equipment and personnel under the direction of Dr. Roger A. Jenkins of The Environmental Chemistry and Mass Spectrometry Group. All measurements of particle concentrations and volatile organic compounds were acceptable and no unusual or unexpected compounds were observed. This report will be available, in its entirety, on the EFTI website http://www.earthfirsttech.com.

Three different sampling and real time characterization methodologies were employed. Direct sampling ion trap mass spectrometry, real time particle monitoring, and area sampling and analysis of volatile organic compounds, were the methods used by ORNL and are described in detail in the report. Sampling was conducted by ORNL staff member Rob R. Smith, and analytical techniques, graphs, and tabulations of data are included for review.

EFTI Chairman, John Stanton states, "This certification from ORNL completes the data to be gathered on the plant operations. Production and operating data have been documented for some time and this report allows EFTI to commence commercial operations in Quarter IV, 2004."
