OWENS-CORNING TO MOVE ENGINEERING GROUP FROM ONE SEAGATE

 TOLEDO, Ohio, Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Owens-Corning (NYSE: OCF) has decided not to renew its lease for space at One SeaGate, also known as the Owens-Illinois Building, announced Dr. Sharell Mikesell, vice president, Science and Technology.
 Currently, the Corporate Engineering Department is located on three floors of the building. It includes 150 engineers, managers and support personnel.
 "We are currently exploring several options for housing our Engineering Department, including integrating it with our research and technical teams located at our Science and Technology Center in Granville, Ohio," said Mikesell.
 The lease on the space in One Seagate expires at the end of 1994.
