Lev Gonick, in addition to his VP position, is Chairman of the Board
of OneCleveland, a metropolitan-wide strategy to extend high speed
network connectivity to the non-profit sector in Northeast Ohio. He
serves on multiple national and local boards and has also has served
in a consultant role to Western Governor's Association, Kennedy School
of Government, US Agency for International Development and others.

From 1996 through 1999 Lev Goncik was University Dean for
Instructional Technology and Academic Computing at California State
Polytechnic University in Pomona, California. Under his leadership,
Cal Poly Pomona became a national leader in charting the future of
Higher Education in the Digital Age. Media Vision, Cal Poly Pomona's
internationally acclaimed digital education content development and
delivery system, has been recognized with awards from both the
technology and education communities.

Lev's international efforts in education and technology are extensive
and date back to 1985. He has consulted and lectured at 9 universities
in Australia, 5 in Japan, 4 in South Africa, and has spoken to
audiences in England, Israel, Cote d'Ivoire, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Cuba,
Mexico, and Botswana, and across the United States and Canada.

Lev received his PhD in International Political Economy from York
University in Ontario, Canada.

He is married to Barbara Weltman-Gonick. They have two children and
live in Beachwood, OH.
