Mulholland Drive is a very well-known road in Los Angeles, California named after engineer William Mulholland. A portion of it is also called Mulholland Highway.

To get to this beach from inland, one must travel a mountain road (either Decker Canyon Road (Highway 23) or Mulholland Highway) which can be quite hazardous. . The event will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area: see National Parks and Monuments (table). . Donations are encouraged to maintain the mountain range's parklands.

The human chain will clasp CLASP - Computer Language for AeronauticS and Programming  hands promptly at 10 a.m., and participants are encouraged to picnic afterward in local recreation areas.

Someone's listening: The River Ranger District of the Angeles National Forest The Angeles National Forest (ANF) was established by executive order on December 20, 1892 as the San Gabriel Timberland Reserve. It covers over 2,600 km² (650,000 acres) and is located in the San Gabriel Mountains of Los Angeles County, just north of the metropolitan area of Los  is soliciting comments on planned improvements for six district trailheads and the reconstruction of the Doc Larsen Trail.

The trailheads selected for improvement are the Colby-Strawberry Peak; Grizzly Flats; Stonehead Canyon; Pacific Crest-Soledad Off-Highway Vehicle; Condor Peak Trailhead, on the west side of Big Tujunga Canyon Road; and Oak Springs Trailhead.

The River Ranger District seeks to make the trailheads safe, enjoyable and environmentally acceptable to trail users. Readers are invited to suggest improvements for parking areas, signage, hitching posts, bicycle racks, restroom locations and any other trailhead improvements.

The district also plans to improve the Doc Larsen Trail, making it more enjoyable for hikers, equestrians and mountain bikers. Comments are invited for installation of retaining walls, erosion structures and drainage crossings.
