The climb school is an entry-level mountaineering class designed to provide participants with the basic skills needed to climb safely with a group in Alpine environments where travel may involve ascending glaciers or negotiating steep rock. Participants must be in good physical condition and 16 years of age or older (13, if accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult). The course includes evening classroom sessions April 20 and 27, and two full-day field sessions (April 22 or 23 and April 29). The cost is $60.
