LANCASTER - Marching bands, floats, custom and classic car clubs, and equestrian groups will roll down Lancaster Boulevard today for the 64th annual Antelope Valley This article is about the Los Angeles County region. More than 100 entries are in the parade, which features the theme ``A Fair to Remember'' because this will be the last fair at the downtown fairgrounds n. pl. 1. same as fairground. .

Next year, the fair will take place in new grounds under construction in west Lancaster.

The parade will start at 9 a.m. on Lancaster Boulevard at 10th Street West and run east to Sierra Highway Sierra Highway is a road in Southern California, United States. It runs from Tunnel Station near the north limit of the City of Los Angeles, where it intersects with San Fernando Road and Foothill Boulevard, as well as Interstate 5, and continues north to Mojave, mostly paralleling .

Grand marshal Grand Marshal is a ceremonial, military, or political office of very high rank. The term has its origins with the word "Marshal" with the first usage of the term "Grand Marshal" as a ceremonial title for certain religious orders.  is Tom Fuller, owner with his two sons of H.W. Hunter Chrysler-Dodge-Plymouth, which has sponsored Antelope Valley Fair events.

The fair opened Friday, with thousands of visitors attending the concert by country stars Travis Tritt Travis Tritt (born James Travis Tritt, February 9, 1963 in Marietta, Georgia) is an American country music singer-songwriter. Biography
Tritt was born in Marietta, Georgia to James and Gwen Tritt. At age 3, he received his first guitar from his father.
 and Chely Wright. The fair runs through Sept. 2.

The fair opens today at noon. Headlining the entertainment lineup today is the 7:30 p.m. concert by classic rock band Journey.

TODAY

Journey, 7:30 p.m. $25, $20. Hours noon-1 a.m. Antelope Valley Fair Parade, 10 a.m. starting on Lancaster Boulevard at 10th Street West.

SUNDAY

War, 7:30 p.m. Hours noon-midnight. Fair admission is $10, which includes carnival rides and the concert.

DAILY

Carnival rides, farm animals, flower exhibits, handicraft handicraft: see arts and crafts.  display, photo exhibit, gem and mineral display, bungee jumping bungee jumping
