OSRAM Opto Semiconductors continues to build on its reputation as a leader in imaging technology for a wide array of emerging applications as it announces its new, high-powered laser offering and demonstrates its technological expertise during the Photonics West 2005 conference and exposition. The conference, scheduled from January 22 through January 27th at the San Jose Convention Center, is North America's largest exhibition on optics, lasers, biomedical bi·o·med·i·cal

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors will showcase achievements in both infrared laser and LED technology. OSRAM's newest laser technology offers innovative breakthroughs in self-cooled laser diode arrays. The OSRAM Sirilas(TM) SPL (1) (Systems Programming Language) The assembly language for the HP 3000 series. See assembly language for an SPL program example.

 LG81, the company's new cost-effective, high-reliability laser solution, meets the growing demands of today's marketplace by offering designers a unique micro-channel cooler and higher output power of up to 30W cw. These features are all available in a newly developed, component-style TO263 package. OSRAM's Sirilas SPL LG81 is ideal for existing and emerging solid-state pumping, material processing, illumination and industrial applications. Demonstrations on display include those in association with DILAS Diodenlaser GmbH and Pursuit Technology Inc.
