OSRAM Opto Semiconductors LED Light for You Network Expands Its Global Horizons.

Internet Platform Boasts 25 Certified Partners from Around the World

SAN JOSE San Jose, city, United States

, Calif. -- Only six months after it was launched by OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, the LED Light for you (LLFY) network now has about 25 certified partners from all around the world. The network offers designers, architects, lighting specifiers/consultants and lighting fixture manufacturers' high-quality advice and support for current and future projects in the three core areas of optical, thermal and electronic solutions.

"OSRAM Opto Semiconductors has brought together the combined expertise of certified partners on the LLFY Internet platform, providing a starting point Noun 1. starting point - earliest limiting point

"To make the process as easy as possible for the user, the platform also provides the latest information on all the components needed to create lighting solutions with LEDs," she added.

The key element of the LLFY network is a powerful Web-based portal (http://www.ledlightforyou.com) which facilitates the link between OSRAM Opto Semiconductors' customers and the certified LLFY partners. Using the LLFY portal website, a lighting designer, for instance, can quickly get a comprehensive overview about information ranging from components to design and engineering support. Additional links provide easy-to-click contact information to knowledgeable partners, their products and services.

Parties interested in becoming LLFY affiliates can register directly through the platform or by contacting OSRAM Opto Semiconductors. Upon successful completion of the certification process, partners are included in the network and activated on the Web portal See portal. . Through partner events and workshops on optical, thermal and electronic solutions, partner companies have the opportunity to further enhance their expertise on LEDs and to exchange know-how with other network partners.

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors operates the website; however, business relationships occur directly between certified partners and customers. OSRAM Opto Semiconductors' LLFY serves as a "contact" platform, not as a sales platform. Complete LED systems are offered through OSRAM's LED Systems Division.

LED Light for you is one more step to help OSRAM Opto Semiconductors' customers be successful in the general lighting arena.
