Aimed for designers and architects, lighting specifiers/consultants, and lighting fixture manufacturers, the LED Light for you (LLFY) global partner network will highlight the options presented by LED (Light-Emitting Diode) technology in lighting applications.

OSRAM's LLFY will help customers find suitable partners for their intended LED applications, particularly in the general lighting arena, while helping others quickly familiarize themselves with the application and future potential of this technology.

Rigid qualification criteria are applied to ensure that only certified partners are included in the network and provide value added services as well as support to OSRAM's customers.

The key element of the LLFY network is a powerful web-based portal (http://www.ledlightforyou.com) that facilitates the link between OSRAM's customers and the certified LLFY partners. Using the LLFY portal website, a lighting designer, for instance, can quickly get a comprehensive overview about information ranging from components to design and engineering support. Additional links provide easy-to-click contact information to knowledgeable partners, their products or services.

Parties interested in becoming LLFY affiliates can register directly through the platform or by contacting OSRAM Opto Semiconductors. Upon successful completion of the certification process, partners will be included in the network and activated on the web portal. OSRAM will operate the website; however, business relationships will occur directly between certified partners and customers. OSRAM's LLFY will serve as a "contact" platform, not as a sales platform.
