OSIsoft intros ProcessPoint 4.0.

OSIsoft, Inc. has announced ProcessPoint 4.0, a Web-based, collaborative software tool that provides a real-time, centralized system of record for all product information from idea through commercialization and scale-up to production. Specifically designed for the process industry, ProcessPoint enables companies to accelerate and manage new product innovations to benefit from faster time-to-market, reduced product cost and quality improvements.

ProcessPoint enables customers such as Dow Reichhold and Alberto Culver to automate specification, recipe, and product formula management, as well as new product development. The solution eliminates errors and duplication of efforts as products are scaled up to production by automatically managing versions of products as they change. In addition, ProcessPoint provides complete visibility across the enterprise into manufacturing process steps and instructions, packaging specifications, formulations and recipes. New features such as user creation and management tools offer customers faster integration and deployment, ease of integration with other key RtPM software components such as RtBaseline, and flexible, role-based user data displays. Implementation time is reduced as simplified user interfaces allow customers to easily configure the solution and add legacy data for quick installation.
