OSI Pharmaceuticals to Webcast its R&D Day on Friday, March 10, 2006; Announcing Pipeline and 2006 Strategy.

), announced today that it will host a live webcast of its Research and Development Day on Friday, March 10, 2006 at 9:00AM Eastern Time. OSI's senior management will review the Company's oncology, eye disease and diabetes research and development programs as well as its product portfolio. The webcast is expected to last approximately three hours.

Interested parties may view the day's agenda and access the live webcast of the presentations by logging on to the Investor Relations Investor relations
