OSCAR-WINNING FIRMS SEE MARKETS' GOLDEN GLOW.Byline: Daily News A day after the 73rd annual Academy Awards, Wall Street served up its own set of winners and losers Monday among the companies who made the most lauded films. It was a hands-down victory for Sony Corp., the Japanese electronics giant whose stock closed at $75.24, up $2.34 or 3.21 percent on the New York Stock Exchange New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) World's largest marketplace for securities. The exchange began as an informal meeting of 24 men in 1792 on what is now Wall Street in New York City. . Sony Pictures Classics was behind two of the top films: ``Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (Traditional Chinese: 臥虎藏龍; Simplified Chinese: 卧虎藏龙; Pinyin: ,'' which won four Oscars including best foreign language film, and ``Pollock,'' in which Marcia Gay Harden Marcia Gay Harden (born August 14, 1959) is an Academy Award-winning American actress. Biography Early life Harden, one of five children, was born in La Jolla, California, daughter of Beverly (née Bushfield), a housewife, and Thaddeus Harold Harden, a Texas won for best supporting actress.
