Among the ``Rings'' faithful walking into one of the first L.A.-area public screenings of director Peter Jackson's film version of J.R.R. Despite the boisterousness of the crowd, as soon as the movie title appeared, the audience fell into rapt silence and not a creature was stirring - not even an Orc in the third row.
