) communications, today announced that it ended 2006 with about 225,000 billable subscriber communicators on its data communications system, a 99% increase over the Company's subscriber communicator base of 113,000 at the end of 2005. ORBCOMM added approximately 112,000 billable subscriber communicators for the full-year 2006 and approximately 26,000 billable subscriber communicators in the fourth quarter of 2006. The number of fourth-quarter subscriber communicator additions is greater than the range of 19,000 - 25,000 previously forecast by the company.
