OPTIMUS Corporation Awarded DoD Contract; Information Logistics Company Selected for AMM Prototype Development.

To date, DLIS has managed a major portion of the logistic information requirements of the warfighter in remote environments with degraded or non existent web connectivity using FED LOG, a logistics procurement database, published monthly on CD/DVD by OPTIMUS Corporation since 1992.

The FLIS AMM project allows DLIS to leverage specifically designed web applications to create mobile media products that permit military personnel to obtain the information they need anywhere, even within the last tactical mile.

The acquisition process associated with this award was managed by the Federal Systems Integration and Management Center or FEDSIM FEDSIM Federal Systems Integration & Management Center  under the GSA (1) (Global mobile Suppliers Association, Sawbridgeworth, U.K., www.gsacom.com) A membership organization of suppliers of GSM products and services.
