ONYX Software Delivers for Corel and WordPerfect support; Corel selects ONYX Customer Center as their enterprise customer management solution for its WordPerfect Division.

The Right Solution

Corel Corp. agreed to acquire the PerfectOffice application suite from Novell Inc. on Jan. 31, 1996. To continue the tradition of service excellence for WordPerfect customers, Corel is providing unlimited support for the PerfectOffice applications. To successfully implement this program, Corel purchased and installed more than 700 PCs for their Orem campus. They also chose to provide support engineers with world-class customer management software.

 WordPerfect's customer processes, convert 25 million data records from Novell's legacy systems, and train all system users within a three week period. The 350 WordPerfect support engineers track over 5,000 calls per day using a single Microsoft SQL Server A relational DBMS from Microsoft that is a major component of the Windows Server System. It is Microsoft's high-end client/server database and is closely integrated with Microsoft Visual Studio and the Microsoft Office System.  database.
