"The new taxiway is also the primary access to the proposed international cargo site located at the northwest corner of the airport." In addition, the new concrete taxiways and runway intersections were designed and constructed to be compatible with the future Runway 26R Reconstruction project that is currently under design and is scheduled to begin construction in 2004.
