Now that he's had a few days to reboot the computers, take Kim Ng out for a conciliatory pint of beer and come to the realization that Milton Bradley is now his problem, is it too much to ask that Ned Colletti stop wearing his San Francisco Giants 2002 World Series ring around his new Dodger Stadium offices?

Doesn't he realize that it only reminds those yet-to-be-fired Dodger employees that it was, in fact, the Angels who actually won that championship?

--Wouldn't it make as much sense as anything else if Jim Fregosi, the ex-Angels star, becomes the new Dodgers' skipper?

--With the addition of amphetamine testing to baseball's anti-steroid policy, how long before they ban Red Bull, Otter Pops and Pixy Stix?

Caffeine-laced sunflower seeds, anyone?

Has MLB lifted its ban on ballboys drinking a gallon of milk in under an hour?

--If Fresno State expects to send 30,000 fans to the Coliseum tonight to see their B'dogs against USC, but the school was allotted only 6,000 tickets, does that mean ... forget that, where do they dump all the turnips and Brussels sprouts before loading up the family on the flat-bed pickup trucks?

--Wouldn't this be the appropriate time for Norm Chow to convince Jeff Fisher that their Tennessee Titans should put it in cruise control and finish with as cruddy a record as possible so they'd have a shot at either Matt Leinart or Reggie Bush in the 2006 NFL Draft? Would either of them revive Chow's membership in the Genius Offensive Coordinator Club?

--What are the chances now of LenDale White dodging the NFL Draft?

--So what's the plan when Vince Young breaks his leg and Texas drops a game between now and Jan. 4? And why all the sudden the bad rap on the Miami squad?

--Not that it matters much now, but did you know Kyle Matter, Stanford's former starting QB and one of Boller's predecessors at Hart High, has spent his fifth and final season on The Farm as a backup receiver, but has only seen action as the holder on field goals and extra points?

--Does a strained hip flexor on top of a severe hamstring pull hurt Luke Walton's chances of playing in any more beach volleyball tournaments in the offseason?

--How dumb can Kurt Busch get?
