ONE DEAD, ONE HURT IN WEEKEND ATTACKS.

Sheriff's deputies said that a man, whose name was not released, suffered multiple stab wounds and had to be flown by helicopter to Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills and is expected to survive.

The man apparently argued with another man in the parking lot of the Horseshoe horseshoe, narrow plate, commonly of iron or steel, shaped to fit a horse's hoof and attached to the hoof by nailing it to the inner edge of the horny wall of the hoof.  Bar, located in the 38400 block of Palmdale Boulevard at about 6:10 p.m. Friday, officials said. He was stabbed and the attacker fled.

Deputies said it appeared the man who was stabbed was an aggressor AGGRESSOR, crim. law. He who begins, a quarrel or dispute, either by threatening or striking another. No man may strike another because he has threatened, or in consequence of the use of any words.  in the fight.

In another incident, about 2 a.m. Saturday, an African-American man was found shot to death in the 100 block of East Avenue J. The shooting was under investigation.
