VISALIA - Anytime a closer is in a slump, people notice.

With the game on the line, any mistake made is magnified exponentially.

JetHawks closer Brandon Parker, the league leader in saves with 17, has fallen on hard times lately.

In another bad outing on Thursday, Parker blew a two-run lead going into the ninth inning in a game Lancaster eventually lost in the 10th inning to the Visalia Oaks The Visalia Oaks are a minor league baseball team in Visalia, California, U.S. They are a "high-A" class team of the Arizona Diamondbacks operating in the California League.

The Oaks play home games at Recreation Park; opened in 1967, the stadium seats 1,800 fans.
 6-5 before 1,536 at Recreation Park.

Parker surrendered three hits, a walk, and hit two batters in Thursday's ninth inning debacle.

Esteban German scored the game-winner in the 10th on Aaron Nieckula's run-scoring single to left off JetHawk reliever Cody Morrison.

Morrison (6-4) took the loss.

Claudio Galva (5-2), who pitched a scoreless 10th inning, was credited with the win.
